BIOMAX COLLABORATES WITH FRENCH PHARMACEUTICAL GROUP

"We have improved our database quality by a centralized bioinformatics system tailored to our needs in analyzing and validating our antibody discovery data," said Dr. M. Tesar, Head of the Molecular and Cellular Department at Pierre Fabre Immunology Center. "We were impressed how quickly Biomax took our experts' concepts and turned them into a solution that efficiently supports our daily work. The improvement to our antibody R&D process has been invaluable." Read more.
FURTHER IMPROVING PERFORMANCE WITH NEW FEATURES

Version 5.3 of the BioXM™ Knowledge Management Environment provides enhanced graph capabilities, delivering more layout options and speed. The new features include more options to dynamically overlay information such as experimental data, analysis results or other data resources. Contact Biomax for further information.
APPLICATIONS
COORDINATING A RAPID RESPONSE TO EPIDEMIC OUTBREAKS
Biomax provides the knowledge platform for the PREPARE (Platform for European Preparedness Against (Re-)emerging Epidemics) network, a framework for harmonized large-scale clinical research studies on infectious diseases. The PREPARE knowledge platform provides a means to aggregate and center all current knowledge and data around an outbreak of a pandemic threat in order to define and provide a rapid emergency response strategy. MECHANISMS OF THE DEVELOPMENT OF ALLERGY (MeDALL)

Biomax provides the text-mining and knowledge management infrastructure for the European Union's 7th Framework Program, MeDALL project. Recently, this 23-member consortium published a review on "the MeDALL Hypothesis."  The review proposes the hypothesis that allergic multimorbidities and IgE polysensitization are associated and related to the persistence or re-occurrence of foetal type 2 signaling. See the abstract here. Learn more about how Biomax is involved here.

EDUCATION
IT'S EASIER THAN YOU THINK: SEE THE VIDEOS ON DISEASE MAPS
The BioXM™ Knowledge Management Environment provides an ideal platform to create detailed disease maps specific to your area of research – fast! The approach enables you to organize and explore a dynamic computer-based knowledge repository that graphically represents interactions between molecular components (genes, proteins, compounds, etc.) with pathways reported to play a role in disease pathogenesis or progression. See how any information, in any format can be easily added. View the videos.

MEASURE CLINICAL PERFORMANCE AND IMPROVE PATIENT CARE - PRESENTATION AT TDWI

Dr. Martijn Spruit delivered a presentation at the 2015 European Data Warehouse Institute (TDWI) conference: "Cluster Visualization and Profiling of Patient Data to Measure Clinical Performance and Improve Patient Care." Dr. Spruit is the Scientific Advisor at the CIRO+, center of expertise for chronic organ failure in Horn, Netherlands and Associate Professor in rehabilitation sciences at Hasselt University, Belgium. The CIRO data center is based on the BioXM™ Knowledge Management Environment and maps the full clinical process into a software support solution for data capturing, integration and management. This enables direct integrative analysis across clinical, laboratory and high-throughput experimental ("omics") data." See the presentation here.
